Naruto Manga Chapter 280 RAW
Reported by: Tazmo on Thursday, Oct. 13th, 2005 at 01:48PM
The 280th chapter of the Japanese Naruto manga series has been released RAW, and this week we actually mean raw because it is Japanese and scanned (well, pictured) right out of the Japanese Shonen Jump. If you would like to give this chapter a download you may do so, along with every single one of the other 279 chapters and special chapters, by going to our Naruto Manga Downloads page. This definately looks to be one of the better chapters as of late and we can only hope for a translation soon! That's all for now folks, I shall be heading off to the very first home game of the year for the Calgary Flames, and I've got my prime upperdeck seats by the bathrooms and snowcone stand located on the side of the building where the championship banner will rise! How supremely exciting!

Episode 155 of the Japanese Naruto anime series has been translated in to English from it's original form by the very trusty people over at the subtitling group Dattebayo, a nice prompt release from them this week. As usual you can give the episode a download through a variety of methods, the first of which would be the most common and is of course BitTorrent. You can find the torrent for this episode by heading over to Dattebayo's webpage by clicking here. And as usual if you are one of our NarutoFan PLUS! members you can give the episode a direct download from our servers by heading over to our Naruto Anime Downloads page.

The 155th episode of the Japanese Naruto anime series entitled: Dark Clouds' Silent Approach - has been released once again by SaiyaMan, and as usual this early release does not have the addition of subtitles, meaning that it is straight off of the television set from Japan. As usual you can give this episode a download through BitTorrent by heading over to SaiyaMan's webpage located right here. And of course if you are a NarutoFan PLUS! member you can give the episode a direct download from one of our many servers by going right over to our Naruto Anime Downloads page. The Tuesday Post
Reported by: Tazmo on Tuesday, Oct. 11th, 2005 at 02:27PM
Welcome back to the Tuesday Post. In our last issue, oh yeah, there was no Tuesday Post last week. Let's hope that our luck this week is different and this very post won't be deleted twice in the process of creating it. It isn't easy to create a masterpiece, you know. But it takes brave people like us to try, and hope to succeed. I hope everyone had a good long weekend, of course it was Columbus Day in the USA, and Thanksgiving in Canada yesterday. And today in Canada is also turkey left over day, where we will be forced to eat the left overs from Thanksgiving until it is all gone, every single piece of it before our parents feel the need to make a new dinner.

Anyways, Episode 155 of the Japanese Naruto anime series will be coming up shortly. It is as you may have guessed a continuation of the filler arc that we have been seeing for the past couple of months. And as you might have guessed again, this will not be the last episode of this filler arc. In fact, starting in just a couple more episodes a brand new filler arc will begin and this one will even involve the Konohamaru Corps! It is beginning to look like Naruto anime fans may have to wait until 2006 for anime that follows the manga. But, it will all hopefully be worth it in the end. The episode entitled: Dark Clouds' Silent Approach - is just 13 hours away from airing, and little more until we can hope to see it online!
The next manga chapter should also be coming up soon this week from the Japanese Naruto manga series. But of course you knew that, but I just needed a lead in to the next couple of sentences. Some of you may have noticed, if you are the type who clicks on random links across the website, that we have a brand new NarutoFan PLUS! support system. We have eliminated e-mail support, private message support, and whatever else kind of support, for a support system that actually works. If you have any question about any aspect of your account, we encourage you to make use of our new support system.

Naruto Merchandise coming to Canada in 2006
Reported by: Tazmo on Monday, Oct. 10th, 2005 at 06:46PM
As the month of October came Naruto merchandise and apparel began to spring up in Hot Topic stores across the United States of America, leaving Canadian Naruto fans a bit puzzled as to when they would get their chance at picking up some Naruto merchandise. I took it upon myself to ask around at VIZ Media and I've just heard back from the Senior Director of Licensing who confirmed to me that indeed they have not forgotten about Canadian fans (and those who are afraid to venture in to Hot Topic), saying that Naruto merchandise would be more readily available at other retail outlets all across North America early in 2006. In the mean time though, the Naruto website will begin selling merchandise this November that will ship to Canada and all over.

So, it's Thanksgiving eh?
Reported by: Tazmo on Monday, Oct. 10th, 2005 at 10:45AM
Even though the evil Canadian empire YTV took away bragging rights for getting to view the Naruto anime before our American counterparts, Canada can still go on about how we got to have Turkey first. Of course, I guess it could be countered that it doesn't need to be Thanksgiving just to have turkey, even though I've actually never had it at any other time of the year. Also, did anyone else know until this year that Thanksgiving was on a Monday and not Sunday? Why on earth was it always called Turkey Sunday? Why on earth would the Americans have Thanksgiving on a Thursday? I guess we'll never know (or care to read about it). Anyways, this Thanksgiving will indeed be a happy one because I have NHL Center Ice from Bell ExpressVU and can watch hockey literally all day long beginning right now at 11AM. Technology is wonderful. Have a good one, fellow Canucks (and I mean Canadians, not the hockey team, because even though I like the Canucks more than other Canadian teams to the north of Calgary, I still don't like them).

Narutimate Hero Coming for Playstaton 2 in Q1 2006
Reported by: Tazmo on Sunday, Oct. 9th, 2005 at 10:20AM
1Up.com has an article posted yesterday that seems to make it official that Narutimate Hero will be coming to North America completely translated to English in the first quarter of 2006 (January - April). Of course this is not news to anyone, and it has been known for nearly a year that this game would be coming, as is evident by one of our posts a long, long time ago and a quote in their article that is about a year old announcing the game itself. Nonetheless it is good to see that people are looking forward to this game coming, and that it will indeed be in all of our grasps soon! You can view the article here.

Reported by: Tazmo on Saturday, Oct. 8th, 2005 at 03:19PM
Many of you have been holding out on experiencing the glories of your very own NarutoFan PLUS! account which grants you a wide array of features that can not be rivalled anywhere else in the anime community. And many of you would perhaps have happily signed up for an account if only you had a PayPal account, if only. For whatever reason, and there are a lot of different ones, many of you do not have a PayPal account, and many of you would have liked to become a NarutoFan PLUS! member if only there was another way. Well, I am happy to announce that we have another way! Starting today we will be accepting 100% secure credit card payments, that will setup your account instantly as soon as you order instead of waiting the 3 - 5 business days for PayPal to clear your purchase.

This method is, as I said 100% totally secure and encrypted and run by one of the most reputable credit card processors, 2CheckOut.com - and best of all there's no need to even sign-up for a 2CheckOut account just to become a NarutoFan PLUS! member! So now anyone with a credit card, no matter in which country you reside can have access to it all. For our younger members who aren't of age to carry the plastic, it is just a matter of persuading your parents of this thing that is essential to life, complete and total happiness for only a month, or 13 cents per day! So come on, what are you waiting for! Just head on over to our sign-up page! Look out for some improvements and new things to NarutoFan PLUS! very soon!

Edit by Tazmo: We ran in to an error with additional purchases through PayPal by users who had already been signed up. This is completely fixed, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Naruto Manga Chapter 279 RAW, Important notice about ISP issues
Reported by: Tazmo on Thursday, Oct. 6th, 2005 at 03:08PM
Before we continue I should mention that it is not really raw, in fact I use that only to get your attention. The chapter has been released scanlated in to Chinese by JoJoHot, which previously we had always marked as a raw to avoid having to explain that it was Chinese instead of Japanese, which I guess could have been done easily. Anyways, the 279th chapter of the Japanese Naruto manga series has been released in this pretty high quality format, and you can give it a download by heading over to our Naruto Manga Downloads page.

On another matter, many of our users are currently experiencing great problems connecting to our media servers, and to be fair a ton of other websites around the world. This has nothing to do with our network, in fact everything is up and running fine. The problem is that Level3 Communications has partitioned it's part of the internet away from CogentCo's part of the internet. Thus, CogentCo users can not use Level3 connectivity, and Level3 users can not use CogentCo connectivity. You may not even know it, but the internet runs on a big backbone controlled by a few companies, Level3 and CogentCo two of the major ones, and wherever the two criss-cross paths, there will be a road block. We can only hope they resolve their issues shortly and allow the whole internet to run smoothly.

Edit by Tazmo: The ISP issues appear to be resolved.
